Back to a day in November 2007

By delayed about five days, Jerry finally comes to this world. It took his mother more than 12 hours try to deliver him naturally, but failed because of the big head. It is normal for an Asian boy, BTW, we are Chinese family living Gatineau, QC, just a river cross Ottawa, the Capital of Canada.

I was so excited and nervous when I cut his cord. But immediately I feel I am a real man, a father... That feeling changes my life, my view and the way I thinking totally from that moment.

"He's a healthy and beautiful boy", the nurse did the exam told me. He's so tiny when I hold him for the first feeding for his life. In the room around with breast feeding women, I am the only man, father feed my son with a bottle of Similac Infant Formula. But I have no brain at that moment to think about anything else (usually will be a little bit shy), all my focus is an eight pound new born, Jerry.

About one hour later, the nurse help me put him into his first bed and let him have a sleep, like this.
